This Privacy Policy describes our practices when you use our mobile application ("TriLive") which provides real-time bus and train arrival information for TriMet public transit in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.

- Used to display nearby stops, calculate arrival times, and show relevant route information.
- Processed in real time on your device; not stored after your session ends.
Usage Data and Device Information
- Includes device model, operating system version, app version, and anonymized usage statistics.
- Helps us diagnose crashes, improve performance, and optimize features.
- Collected via third-party analytics and crash reporting tools (e.g., Apple Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics).
Push Notification Identifiers
- If you enable notifications, we store a device-specific token to deliver arrival alerts.
- Not linked to personally identifiable information.
We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.

We use collected information to:
- Provide core functionality, including location-based stop searches and live arrival times
- Deliver time-sensitive notifications for upcoming bus/train arrivals
- Monitor app performance and troubleshoot technical issues

- Location Data: Not stored after the session ends.
- Push Notification Tokens: Retained only while notifications are enabled on your device.
- Analytics Data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form to track performance trends.
We will delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer needed for the purposes described above.

You can manage your privacy settings at any time:
- Location Access: Disable in your device settings to prevent location data collection.
- Notifications: Disable in app or device settings to stop receiving alerts.
- Data Deletion Requests: Contact us using the information below to request removal of stored push notification tokens.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
TriLive is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
